Savos InteriorsFull Furnishing and Styling Service with Custom Millwork - This study was designed fully with our client in mind. Functionally, extensive storage was needed to keep this space organized and tidy with a large desk for our client to work on. Aesthetically, we wanted this office to feel peaceful and light to soothe a stressed mind. The result is a soft and feminine, yet highly organized study to encourage focus and a state of serenity.

Carpenter & Carpenter LimitedDesign, manufacture and installation of a bespoke large built-in library with handmade oak sliding ladder, built in soft close drawers, storage cabinets, display cabinets with lighting, seating and built in radiator cabinet. All cabinetry has a sprayed finish and the sliding oak ladder is finished in a natural oil.

Design Directives, LLCExecutive home office with rich mahogany paneling, modern fireplace, and hardwood floor. This magnificent office has a slab stone fireplace made from floor to ceiling, book-matched Picasso quartzite. The contemporary desk has a polished stainless steel base, a high gloss, fully filled finish top, and a leather inset. Both the chair and the desk are from Dakota Jackson.

ChangoThis masculine study/library contains linen roman shades for privacy. A 12' wide vintage American schoolhouse table from the 1920's is used as the desk in this room. It is paired with a black leather Eames chair. The room sits atop a light gray silk rug. Dark gray paneled walls. Clusters of riveted metal lamps are used in the place of desk lamps. A leather and nailheaded sofa is used and paired with ray upholstered coffee tables. The sofa is flanked by two swing arm sconces and rough iron and reclaimed wood libraries.
MC Design LLCIf clutter drives you crazy you should absolutely consider incorporating a hidden closet desk (or two) into your home. In this office, we converted two double closets into two individual hidden work zones so that when the doors close at the end of the day, the main office remains looking neat
Just the ThingBlack walls set off the room's cream furnishings and gold accents. Touches of pink add personality; the pink ceiling medallion adds emphasis to the elegant chandelier. Highlighting the tall windows, black painted frames add graphic interest against the cream sills. Drapery emphasizes the ceiling height while absorbing sound and adding warmth. A huge custom rug unifies the seating and working areas and further contributes to the hushed atmosphere.
In order for this room to feel more like a retreat and less like an office, we used regular furniture pieces in non-standard ways. The client’s heirloom dining table serves as a writing table. A pair of brass and glass consoles holds printer, stationery, and files as well as decorative items. A cream lacquered linen sideboard provides additional storage. A pair of cushy swivel chairs serves multiple functions – facing a loveseat and bench to create a cozy seating area, facing each other for intimate discussions, and facing the desk for more standard business meetings.
