Storie CollectiveIn this Victorian home on Capitol Hill, the interior had been gut renovated by a developer to match a modern farmhouse aesthetic which did not reflect our client. Our scope included a complete overhaul of the primary bathroom and powder room, a heavy kitchen refresh, along with new hardware, doors, paint, lighting, furnishings and window treatments throughout the home. Our goal was to also elevate the home’s architectural details, including a new stair rail, back to what could have been original millwork while creating a feminine, sophisticated space for a family of 5 (plus one adorable furry friend).

Everything HomeOur studio reconfigured our client’s space to enhance its functionality. We moved a small laundry room upstairs, using part of a large loft area, creating a spacious new room with soft blue cabinets and patterned tiles. We also added a stylish guest bathroom with blue cabinets and antique gold fittings, still allowing for a large lounging area. Downstairs, we used the space from the relocated laundry room to open up the mudroom and add a cheerful dog wash area, conveniently close to the back door.

Home & Office Cabinetry of Delaware Inc.This beautiful Medallion White Icing cabinetry perfectly pairs with the Cambria quartz Ironbridge countertop. The subway porcelain backsplash gives the kitchen a modern style. The top drawers are done in a flat slab front. The raised panel ends and the large crown above the cabinets come together for a very elegant look. The paint is applied to maple wood, a typical application that reduces the appearance of any grain in the wood.

Signature Designs Kitchen | Bath | InteriorsWe took a dated bathroom that you had to walk through the shower to get to the outdoors, covered in cream polished marble and gave it a completely new look. The function of this bathroom is outstanding from the large shower with dual heads to the extensive vanity with a sitting area for the misses to put on her makeup. We even hid a hamper in the pullout linen tower. Easy maintenance with porcelian tiles in the shower and a beautiful tile accent featured at the tub.
Hammerdown Home Reno. & General Construction Inc.This stunning bathroom is the result of our client’s desire to upgrade from builder grade. They already had a generous bathroom which required no change to the layout, however the finishes weren’t wearing well, and they wanted to bring character into their home.
The pair of white oak vanities with soapstone coloured quartz bring warmth to an otherwise bright space, while the thoughtful combination of brushed nickel and matte black hardware adds personality. The beauty of this bathroom is that it feels modern yet has the character that can only come from finishes chosen with quality in mind.
