中佐昭夫／ナフ・アーキテクト＆デザイン１枚の長い壁をぐるぐると２回転半、巻いてつくった住宅。
エントランス・ギャラリー・リビング・ダイニング・キッチン・和室・中庭・などの空間を、巻いた壁に沿って配した。それら空間と壁の関係は、ちょうどロールケーキのクリームと生地の関係に似ている。
建て主は夫婦２人で、子供が３人いるが、それぞれすでに結婚して独立している。だから部屋数はそんなに要らない。その代わり、収集した美術品を飾りたい、来客が多い、広いキッチンがほしい、親族であつまってにぎやかに過ごしたい・・・色々な要望があった。それらを空間に置き換えて、長い壁で巻いて、ひとつにまとめている。
壁の外側はタイル張り、内側は塗装。壁に対して、窓は角型に開け、ドアはアーチ型に開けた。中庭に面した窓からは「半巻き先」のタイルや塗装が見え、ドアを抜けると「ひと巻き先」の空間へ近道できる。
壁はエントランス部分が最も高くてパラペット上端が９ｍ、そこからだんだん下がっていって、最後の中庭部分では７．５ｍになる。中庭の採光を考えるとパラペットは低いほうがいい。それが結果的には、単調な箱型になりそうだった建物外観に微妙な変化を与えている。
A Design Art & HouseThis fabulous home had been neglected for some time, we restored the porch structure as well as the design. We sourced custom columns and spindles to match the existing original pcs. We replaced the broken down steps and refinished the hard wood floor as well as the beadboard ceiling.
L & L Home Restoration, LLCThis composite decking is called TimberTech from Azek and is a Tongue and Groove style. The corners also have a herringbone pattern to match the home.

Adonai's Way Contracting, LLCWe then installed the new vinyl columns and vinyl railing. Alternatives2wood (a2w) provided the curved vinyl railing, using our template. It matched beautifully.
