Once a much smaller room, with an old stud panel running the width, to seperate the staircase, we fully opened up this room which is now flooded with natural light. Boxing-in an ugly RSJ, with bespoke oak beam means the character of the cottage is upheld and the window seat is a lovely place to sit and enjoy the views over the town.
