Hortus OasisThis almost one-acre property hosts an historic Victorian home. The landscape design included an eight-foot-tall brick wall which required a variance, a retaining wall, new brick paving, a water feature, containers, and landscaping throughout the property. A wide variety of sun and shade loving plants and containers were used to create Victorian-style gardens. A flowering shrub border at the wall provides year-round bloom color.

Christopher Wallace ArchitectThis structure is quite tiny, measuring six feet by ten feet. It serves as a change room for the client’s teenage son and his friends. It was designed with a very simple interior, but with and exterior rich in traditional ‘carpenter gothic’ detailing. The garage on the opposite side of the pool was refinished in similar detailing.

LCM PLUSThese homeowners purchased a lovely Melrose corner-lot home in desperate need of a landscape refresh. In addition to the Techo-Bloc patio & walkway, LCM PLUS replaced the aging back steps and reconfigured the layout. Using matching natural flat fieldstone LCM PLUS build a small garden wall to match the new front steps, and used landscape lighting to highlight the natural features. Final touches including replacing the fence and & lawn mask the extensive underground drainage & electrical work also completed which means this creative outdoor living space will serve well for many years to come.
