Campion Walker LandscapesTo anchor a modern house, designed by Frederick Fisher & Partners, Campion Walker brought in a mature oak grove that at first frames the home and then invites the visitor to explore the grounds including an intimate culinary garden and stone fruit orchard.
The neglected hillside on the back of the property once overgrown with ivy was transformed into a California native oak woodland, with under-planting of ceanothus and manzanitas.
We used recycled water to create a dramatic water feature cut directly into the limestone entranceway framed by a cacti and succulent garden.

Titan HomesThe outside of this house features a stream that winds from one side of the property to the other. There are paver stone pathways that lead from each side of the house to the main entrance plus one that leads you from the front of the house through the beautiful kitchen side vegetable garden to the back trex deck. The landscaping has a mix of mature trees, bushes, and tons of flowers including pine trees, boxwoods, roses, petunias, daisies, dahlias, bleeding hearts and more.

building Lab, inc.Eichler in Marinwood - At the larger scale of the property existed a desire to soften and deepen the engagement between the house and the street frontage. As such, the landscaping palette consists of textures chosen for subtlety and granularity. Spaces are layered by way of planting, diaphanous fencing and lighting. The interior engages the front of the house by the insertion of a floor to ceiling glazing at the dining room.
Jog-in path from street to house maintains a sense of privacy and sequential unveiling of interior/private spaces. This non-atrium model is invested with the best aspects of the iconic eichler configuration without compromise to the sense of order and orientation.

CLS Landscape SupplyThis bungalow in the community of Watermark includes thoughtfully designed front and back yards. The front yard includes feature boulders and poured concrete edging - providing a clean look that is easy to maintain. A statement piece of the design was the use of Rundle flagstone to create a mountain scape in the front. Using custom lighting, this rock feature creates the silhouette of mountains at night, making a beautiful scene in both day and nighttime. The use of Rundle edge stone creates contour and levels in the yard. A 10 mm Rundle rock pathway leads you to the backyard, where you’ll find mature trees for privacy and a stamped concrete patio. The backyard space also includes a stone mason gas fire pit, a small privacy wall, and garden areas that feature colourful perennial plants and coniferous shrubs for winter coverage - creating the perfect entertaining space year round!
