Michelle Yorke Interior Design LLC
Soft earth tones of brown, gray, beige, and gold bring warmth to this clean, traditional living room. We created an inviting and elegant space using warm woods, custom fabrics, modern artwork, and chic lighting. This timeless interior design offers our clients a functional and beautiful living room, perfect to entertain guests or just have a quiet night in with the family.
Designed by Michelle Yorke Interiors who also serves Seattle’s Eastside suburbs from Mercer Island all the way through Issaquah.

The library serves as a great transition space between the living room and the master suite. As avid readers it was important to provide space for our clients large book collection. We also provided for a reading, as well as, work space within the office. Hiding behind the gray doors is a "back office" area which provides for more cabinetry, printers, work surfaces, and storage.

ORANGE CRUSH. A splash of color—in painted glass panels—really pops against this kitchen’s neutral palette. A smaller speed oven allows for a reduced-height counter while ample drawer storage and a bottom freezer make for long-term accessibility. With their move to a retirement community, these repeat clients wanted both built-in flair and function for years to come.

this extensive whole house remodel in the bernal heights area of san francisco transforms the home from insular
and compartmentalized to open and flowing.
the most prominent moves include reorganization of and opening
up the main stair, relocation of the kitchen and capture of space under house for master suite. the new stair draws light deep into the entry foyer and features a sculptural acrylic screen. the new open concept kitchen, dining, and living space emphasizes comfort, continuity and functionality while highlighting a spectacular panoramic view to downtown san francisco.
