Dion Seminara ArchitectureThe conceptual background behind this project was to preserve the existing home with a compartmentalised layout which does not relate to modern daytime but works for bedroom and study spaces. The objective was to also create a separate pavilion for the open plan living, dining and kitchen space which could take full advantage of the exceptional good aspect on this side of the original home, as well as the landscaped external environment.

Pierre Siaudeau DesignSuite au cyclone Irma de 2017, le restaurant l'Esprit, sur l'île de Saint Barthélémy a été gravement endommagé. Hormis la rénovation du lieu, situé en pleine nature, près des parc salin, le chef restaurateur souhaitait une structure modulable, pouvant protéger ses clients des fortes pluies pouvant s'abattre soudainement. Sachant que le chef est natif du bassin d'Arcachon, j'ai proposé une grande structure de bois, pouvant supporter les cyclones, dans un esprit de cabane Arcachonnaise, avec des voiles de protection pouvant s'ouvrir rapidement par des Winches, rappelant ainsi l'esprit des bateaux.

Add in restoring the upper porches and replacing all the sliding doors. Once again we get to do great things with great products, like using durable decking, building materials and quality doors. The windows and decking material give the home owner year round outdoor living with the products we want to stand behind. And who wouldn’t want to stand of a deck with this view.

The extra space will give you and your guests a place to sunbathe and hang out at water level. Plus, guests who enter via a deck don’t have to walk right in from the (possibly muddy) lawn, which means your pool will stay cleaner and your sanitizer and filtration system won’t have to work as hard.
For this customer, we built a composite deck with TimberTech Edge Prime + in Coconut Husk finished off with aluminum railing in Clay.
The soft colours give the deck a beach vibe, add a few tiki torches and you've got your own private oasis!
