This is a rain garden and Sullivan Design & Construction uses these for water run-off. Each gutter drain is routed underground to the rain garden, which contains native TN plants. The root systems of the plants filtrate the ground to create drainage. We also use these on each lot of a subdivision, in place of bio-retention. A sustainable, practical and attractive solution.
