Polite Design Office/ポライトデザインオフィス北から南に細く長い、決して恵まれた環境とは言えない敷地。
その敷地の形状をなぞるように伸び、分断し、それぞれを低い屋根で繋げながら建つ。
この場所で自然の恩恵を効果的に享受するための私たちなりの解決策。
雨や雪は受け止めることなく、両サイドを走る水路に受け流し委ねる姿勢。
敷地入口から順にパブリック-セミプライベート-プライベートと奥に向かって閉じていく。

gardenstudioLargo poco meno di 3 metri, il giardino laterale è un vero e proprio dehors, completamente pavimentato, diviso dalla proprietà vicina con pannelli frangivento (fibre grigie come la ghiaia, struttura testa di moro come gli infissi), arredato con sedie e poltrone da giardino, tutte rigorosamente colorate, leggere, pieghevoli, per essere facilmente riposte o spostate all'occorrenza in altre parti del giardino. Così attrezzato, questo dehors è il più frequentato angolo del giardino: per la prima colazione, per lo studio, per l'aperitivo e anche per vedere i film sul pc nelle calde serate estive...

Utilizing natural rock and rundle for bedding as well as some bullet-proof plantings this project has great curb appeal and is easy to maintain. Mowers edge makes cutting the grass easy and all the plantings are contained within buttoned up beds. Landscape lighting and accent boulders add to the dramatic scape. PS, the little tree in the front out by the street was planted by the developer and has since been removed.
