Interior Columns
Our Square Paint Grade Columns are made from MDF. Any size column and custom orders are available buy request, call for pricing. We manufacture three basic types of square, MDF wood, interior columns: Smooth, Fluted. There are literarily hundreds of combinations of half & full height columns.
The price listed is the cost of one of our Traditional Square, Paint Grade Column. The shaft is made up of four MDF un-primed sides ½" thick, 7 ⅝" x 8ft that go together using lock mitre joints for easy assembly. They are unassembled so that they can be used to wrap a jack post, lolly post or an existing support. We provide all the trims shown (pre-cut), mounting brackets, tape and MDF glue. The inside shaft is 6 ⅝" square and 7 ⅝" outside, the base adds 1 ¼" making the footprint 8 ⅞". The capital trim adds 4 ⅜" to the top portion making it 12". The base trim is ⅝" x 5 ¼" high.
