Bedroom. My 1955 country ranch rambler is replete with knotty pine. I have grown to appreciate that I can work with it, although I am by no means a fan. For my own bedroom (a tiny den conversion), I discovered that white shoji blinds, white linen curtains, a pendant of wicker globes with mini lights, and other vintage objects in complementary colors work with the knotty pine rather than fighting with it.
