One of the most remarkable aspects of this project is how the pergola and the clam shell-colored Trex deck were thoughtfully designed to complement and highlight the existing large red oak tree. Rather than overshadowing or competing with its natural beauty, the design gracefully worked around the tree, creating a harmonious coexistence between human craftsmanship and nature’s elegance.
Charlotte Heather Interiors LtdBeyond the bifold doors, the pergola extends the living space further and is designed to provide natural shading and privacy. The space is designed for stylish alfresco entertaining with its chic Carl Hansen furniture. Luxury sheepskins and an outdoor fireplace help combat inclement temperatures. The perfect finishing touch is the wisteria and jasmine that were specially selected to drape over the pergola because they remind the clients of home and also because they echo beautiful blossom.

Yorkshire GardensIn this project we aimed to create a stylish garden which was both family friendly and low maintenance.
Eco decking was used to create a large contemporary decking area. This composite product is slip resistant and is created using 95% recycled materials so is very eco friendly . This product is extremely low maintenance and long lasting.
Rendered flower beds were built and complement the sleek and simple lines of the garden. A simplistic planting scheme has been utilised to add colour.
A high quality artificial lawn was laid. This product is a great alternative for those looking for a lawn which will look lush all year round and will with stand children and animals playing on it.
The slatted fence runs around the perimeter and adds warmth and texture to the space. Overall this garden is simple yet very slick.

Cube 1994 LtdIt's amazing how small gardens can look so great when well designed. We built this garden for Ana Sanchez owner of Germinate.
Starting at the house with the Balau hardwood deck, this was fixed using an invisible fixing method, creating a comfortable extension to the home with sofas for lounging. The detail is in the design here, with matching grey fabric sofas to blend with the grey painted bespoke slatted trellis, unifying this space. A very inviting area to sit and relax with a glass of wine after a hard days work!
Leading down to the small lawn area, height has been added with an old stock brick built wall, which we then fixed a diagonal lattice of stainless steel wire rope to train. Trachylospermum Jasminoides over. A buttress of mature ready grown clipped Taxus has been used to create a backdrop to the soft palate of planting. Purples and blues are used as an accent colour in this area, which compliments the greys on the upper deck area.

Small gardens are exciting to design, they are even better to landscape, affordable and can be created in a short space of time.
Multiple spaces with multiple functions were main requirements that the client wanted to use their new garden for. Karl thought it would be best to divide this small space into multiple rooms to make the most of the area. The wish list included a hot tub, lawn, decking, paving, planting and a new shed. Oh, and a natural water feature…
