Birchgrove House
The new living pavilion with the original heritage listed residence in the background. This room can be opened up to the rear yard, enhancing the connection between the yard and the internal spaces. The kitchen can be seen in the background, inserted into the original service wing of the residence. This new pavilion is also used to capture water for reuse, provide good light and cross ventilation, and to control the western sun.
Like roofline. Like combined indoor/ outdoor area.
