A Hardwood Coastal Deck in Whangarei
The clients brief was to
construct hardwood decking
over the existing concrete patio, creating
an elevated outdoor areas to both the front and rear of the property.
“The fall of the deck boards had to
run so that they were aesthetically
pleasing and functional providing
seamless indoor-outdoor flow””, Jason
notes. “The design process was key
in communicating the final look and
requirements to both the client and
construction team.”

fittings give a great finish which will
withstand the coastal conditions for
years to come,’’ says Jason. “The
shaping of the deck around the spa area
is a big improvement and ties in nicely
with the rest of the entertainment zone.”
