Use of Seasonal Color, Container Gardens, Perennials, Merit Award by Grunder Landscaping Co., Miamisburg, OH. Located on a busy street with many nearby shops, the storefront of this business needed to pop with color. An array of seasonal displays, with natural flower beds and dynamic plant heights and sizes, created the ultimate curb appeal. One challenge for this project was that the client’s largest competitor is directly across the street, making it even more crucial that people in passing vehicles notice the landscape design right away. The existing clock tower ensures a quick glance, but the plant choices keep their attention. The flowers that line each garden bed are brightly-colored and planted densely for maximum visibility. Attractive seasonal plants and perennials provide interest even through the winter and coordinate well with additional temporary plantings.
