“I'm am an owner builder with experience in custom home building. I had used different cabinet manufacturers in the past for transitional style homes but my latest project was my own contemporary style house. After looking at lots of options for colors and finishes I met Hamlet at Newline Cabinets who was referred by a friend. I visited his shop and I was impressed by his computerized and up to date machinery, very clean shop, and his professional and patient attitude. The variety of materials, finishes and options that were offered was great. On top of that, Hamlet has great taste and offered very helpful guidance in details and options like use of Channels instead of cabinet knobs or handles and top of the line hardware and interior cabinet options. Our cabinetry came out great and precise to the point that my installers were impressed. Overall, Hamlet did a beautiful job at a reasonable price and I highly recommend him for any cabinet work.”

“Cabinet Refresh completed several jobs at our new home. First, they remodeled the kitchen and laundry area. This meant painting and refacing the existing cabinets; offering advice on paint colors, backsplash, and hardware choices; installing a new countertop and backsplash; painting a banquette; and installing new faucets and the existing dishwasher, water filtration unit, and garbage disposal. Second, they refinished the wood cabinets in two bathrooms, in both cases darkening the existing finish from a medium brown to more of an espresso that was more complementary to the existing tile in the bathrooms; third, they repainted the cabinet in our office bathroom, which were initially a room-shrinking black, to a light gray that made the room feel much more open; and fourth, they demoed our powder room. (We have yet to have them install new cabinets there, but we intend to use them for this job as well.) We worked primarily with Scott, secondarily with Nathan. Scott's strengths are that he has an excellent visual aesthetic; unlike most contractors we met with, he understands where and how to spend money for the most effect; and he offers hands-down the most competitive price for this type of work of the people we obtained quotes from in Los Angeles. (Other quote were not even close.) His crew was very professional and did very good work. There were hiccups here and there, but Scott and Nathan always handled any issues that arose in a professional manner and were committed to ensuring that we were satisfied with all work. We now have a very beautiful kitchen and several beautiful bathrooms. Houzz only lets up upload 4 photos, so we can't quite show how dramatic the transformation was, but suffice it to say that the different is astounding. We look forward to working with Scott and his team on our powder room.”

“We have used this company to design, build and install our cabinets in three different kitchen remodels. John Johnson has been very helpful in designing the cabinets and can customize them to suit your needs, unlike most cabinets that come in only set sizes. We like being able to get upper and lower cabinets that are slightly deeper than the standard depth cabinets and this is available for a nominal additional charge. Their cabinets are well-built and have spacious drawers, unlike so many where you don't get much space in the drawers. We have been very pleased with the quality of their installations--our counter top installer noted their work was meticulous (unlike many others). We highly recommend them. Since they have different quality lines, do be sure to discuss these options so you get the construction details that suit your needs/budget.”
