“Stonestreet Electrical was referred to me by a family friend who had used the company repeatedly with substantial home renovations and was very pleased with the company's work. I am a real estate investor, and have hired contractors in several cities across the country for various projects over the last 10 years. I hired this company as the electrician for a 3 unit residential rental property in the Charleston, SC area, to review the entire electrical layout and to troubleshoot problems. I was very concerned that there would be substantial electrical issues with this project given the age of the home, and the lack of maintenance over the past 20+ years. Mr. Stonestreet was not concerned by my open ended request for assistance, and agreed to meet with my home inspector, go through the house in great detail, and let me know his thoughts on the electrical needs of the entire structure before beginning work. His initial estimate was reasonable, honest, and I learned quickly that he would be one of the easiest vendors I have ever contracted with. I initially contacted Mr. Stonestreet in March, 2013, and left a voice mail as to what was needed and who referred me. I received a quick return call, and we discussed the general estimate that I needed for the building. My inspector had already gone through the building in detail, and had determined that there were significant issues with much of the wiring in the building, finding past evidence of a fire, and two other places where possible electrical fires could occur unless quickly resolved. Stonestreet spent substantial time going through the structure, talking with me about the issues discovered, developed a thorough Scope of Work, and provided me with routine updates as to the work needed, the progress of the work, and the proposed next steps along the way. His staff were punctual, polite, and have worked steadily without issue. I do not have to monitor the hourly work being performed as I do with my other contractors, and there has yet to be one issue or discrepancy. Any questions have always been resolved in my favor without question. As I anticipated, the electrical work needed with this project was substantial. I was provided a detailed Scope of Work and detailed invoices along the way for accounting purposes. Stonestreet has been punctual, professional and honest, working with me in detail to plan purchases, and showing me the invoices for all his purchases of electrical equipment prior to sending me an invoice. In explaining how I preferred some of the lighting installed, I only had to give general ideas to Stonestreet, and he took it from there. This project is complete and have already made the decision to hire this company to do the next two projects. He has had to return to tweak two very small items at my request, at no charge. I have been exceptionally pleased with the work performed, and will continue to keep this company as a member of my team for future investments in the area.”
