“Kennet Design were so professional from beginning to end of our extension project and we really felt we had a personal touch and that they really cared about our plans and vision. The plans that were drawn up were brilliant and gave our builders the precise information they needed to carry out the work to regulation standard - even in a way that we understood, so we could keep an eye on the build and progress. Thank you to the team for making our first experience of house renovation such a great one!”

“The company has acted already for us on two major refurbishment projects completed at just under £500000 cost in the last three years and are now giving us advice on two other larger flagship properties we own to convert commercial space into residential where we as a private fund own a portfolio of property We have found them very responsive and have always given us very good advice along with project management and design in often complicated situations They helped us enormously in obtaining listed building consent and other planning uses for alterations on two of our buildings despite one, very difficult Council They have also suggested and appointed contractors for us and supervised them We have too found their fees reasonable and competitive so we have only very good recommendations to make about the company”

“Millar Howard were our architects on our project to build what we have called 'The Gillyflower'; a rammed earth sound proofed and very beautiful, sustainable wedding and events venue. From the very early stages of this project (before we even knew what the business was going to be).. MHW worked with us on feasibility, planning, creative ideas, design and administrated the contract with our excellent builders, JR Building LTD. We couldn't be more happy with the level of service we got and they often went beyond the limits of our brief to ensure that we ended up with what is now a very popular, impressive and stunning building perfectly sitting in the landscape. “Tom and his team have been outstanding and so professional from day one. They take the time and care to explain all processes step by step including fee proposals and looking at time lines. They have listened to us patiently and respectfully even when I’ve come put with some crazy ideas but found a solution that was not only pleasing but better than I could have imagined. Will has been brilliant at responding efficiently and immediately no matter how silly the questions they may be, making the team very approachable. He has worked and listened to us and asked all the right questions to find a design that suits our needs but is practical. Both Tom and Will at each point have also kept us advised regarding budget at each step and clear about how the changes we want to make may impact that but more importantly rather than dismissing these ideas, looked for solutions and compromises where necessary which we would be happy with while trying to stay on target budget. We can not recommend them highly enough and have also used the team on much larger projects.”

“Our experience with Go plans has been excellent. They arranged a home visit at very short notice, listened to our suggestions and compiled the initial drawings relatively quickly. They also successfully handled the whole planning permission process for us and provided a very fast and professional response to the requests and changes requested by the planning officer. We would definitely use them again for future work.”
