“Be assured that you will be in excellent hands with Stacy at SKM Design. We can not recommend her highly enough! We did not use an architect or designer for our previous 2 renovations and I wish we had known Stacy then. We literally have no regrets with the layout or design choices in our current house. We have a 1920’s traditional colonial and she was excellent at marrying the character of our older home with today’s modern amenities. She leaves no stone unturned, keeps her eyes on the budget, works quickly, is a task master and will come up with a design plan that fits your lifestyle and budget. Stacy will also help you refine or identify your aesthetic if you don’t already have one. For our renovation, she facilitated the bidding process and managed our project every step of the way. She was able to recommend 3 builders for the bidding and a slew of tradespeople. She‘s also a joy to work with and an outstanding human being- you will love having her around.”

“"Cheryl Newton Architect LLC was wonderful to work with. Cheryl is very professional, creative, caring, and intuitive. She quickly realized our likes and dislikes and was very open to our ideas, suggestions, and working together with us to design our dream home. We had a very challenging lot on a lake and Cheryl worked together with the town, our civil engineer, and our landscaper to make the most of the space we had. If we ever needed to design another home we would definitely use her services again.”

“My wife and I knew immediately upon first meeting Terry that we would be working with a kindred spirit who would guide us through our first home building project. It had always been a dream of ours to work with an architect to design a house we would call home. Terry was able to coax out of us what we wanted in a home but never had the language to describe properly. He transformed our vague concepts into a home that perfectly meets our families needs and nurtures our souls. The exterior of the house looks like it grew organically out of the ground, adapting perfectly to our challenging site. Even better, Terry was able to tailor his services to meet our budget while still achieving these spectacular results. “Our experience with Don was great from start to finish. Before designing the house we built, he traveled 4 hours to visit the site of the house taking pictures from all angles to determine how best to situate the house on the lot. During the design process, he would take the time to show us things in his own house to compare with what was on the plans. It gave us a better sense of how the plans would translate when we built. After construction started, he was readily available to answer any questions we had about the construction as well as to speak with the builder. His experience with building is a huge asset when it comes to translating the design into a finished product. All in all, our experience was great and we couldn't be happier with the home he designed for us. We highly recommend Don.”
