Perlis/McKinniss
K: For master bath BUT prefer kickplate at bottom to prevent stuff from rolling under it. Prevent dust from collecting etc. Margie - If it is nicely made it looks fabulous and the price can't be beat. I think you could clean under it once in a while :) Ha!
K: like the color of the island. like the hanging light (a little big) .
K: like this flooring idea for laundry room BUT consider grey/whte instead of the blue.a
Kate: like this rug, bookcase, the look.
Kate: hall bath. those dogs are too much :) like the sink/cabinet. M -the dogs are a panic. the powder room is probably a fun spot for that kind of whimsical pattern.
Kate: 1/2 bath sink and toilet. Mirror image of our layout.
Kate: Idea for tile in a bathroom Margie - border? Kate: no border. just the blk/wht tile
Kate: Idea for tile in a bathroom Margie - I've used this, also comes with grey spot.
Kate: pedestal sink for 1/2 bath
Like this window idea for the dinner room. Picture window in center with two double hung on either side.
crown molding is too big. pretty room though. K: agreed. similar mirror layout to our kitchen.
Neat idea for visual interest. Small stack of over shelves for display purposes. We like this vintage look. Yes, and I see cup pulls on the drawers.
K+M: Looking at the tile. Good idea for achieving blk/white look by using the darker grout.
Kate: Love this image - the rug runner, the richness of the dark blue. The brass pulls may look dated over time - might consider silver instead. Looks rich, bright, clean. Margie - Agreed. Do not like the brass but the rest is nice. Not wild about the matching full splash in same as countertop.
Kate: like the beveled tile. Yes, It is similar to the one we saw at Pro Source yesterday.
Kate: like herringbone.
windows, lights (school house) Kate: like the style of the hanging lights.
plate rack? Kate: not a must have. Margie - Got it. I do love mine.
love the vintage look Kate: yes please! love the vintage look here.
glass door fronts Kate: yes, to a mix of glass fronts.
Do you like the windows? K+M: yes, classic looking.
Kate: like that arch.
K+M: We really like these cabinet doors. Looks almost colonial. Also like the idea of staining the island as opposed to paint in order to see wood grain on island only. May be more forgiving to shoe/kick marks on bar side. Margie - Love that idea.
Kate: Like these cabinet doors and the glass on them. Margie: Reeded glass inserts always an option.
Note windows and doors
