My ideas
I like the combination of simple wallpaper (visual texture) and the colored chairs that 'pop'.
Powder rooms can be "precious" in ways that would feel over done in larger rooms.
Blue and white fits the 'nautical' theme. I worry that white cupboards will get disgusting...
Neat tiles. I like that they are 'classic' with a slight modern twist (refreshed shape)
It drives Pete crazy to have to dig in the cupboard for container lids.
I like white bathrooms, they feel clean. Trick is to make them not feel 'cold'. Natural light helps.
I like the idea of outdoor space effortlessly connected to indoor spaces. The house I grew up in had a slate floor; it brings back good memories.
Natural light if you want it, easy to close the curtains if you don't.
....bedrooms don't need to be huge. (hate the fan)
I stayed at a hotel in London that had an Effe steam shower. I LOVED it. No idea how much that would cost. Simple, clean, functional place to bathe. Amazon steam feature to warm up after a cold day or relax before bed. Ahhh. Like having the small tiles on the floor to create 'grip'.
I like the detail on the ceiling and that the light fixtures 'disappear'. The connection to outside is also lovely. Not something I'd naturally be drawn to, but in some ways it reminds me of the living room in the house I grew up in
The "imagination room" could be as simple as this.
I like how this door adds the outside in
