Retirement Home
Saved this so we can talk about lighting. Maybe gas lamps at the entryway with a couple at the entrance from culdesac. I am starting to like the woodwork under the roofing. Nice use of rocks in the garden. Might want to save some as we dig out the pool area. Also want to talk about using same rocks to make the walkway from firepit to pool and down to greenhouse.
The roof over the rounded part is quite nice. Breaks up the roofline a bit. Something to consider over the rounded staircase in front and the breakfast room iand above Dawn's craft room in the back.
Also a nice clen look. Liking the palm trees. Maybe that is what is in the center of the drive way area with the cutout circle surrounded by deer unfriendly flowers.
This is a very clean look, Kind of nice.
Very interesting lighting we might want to look at along roofline. Nice front door.
really like the big tree, the brick walkway, the garage doors, and the colored tile roof. Lots about this we like.
Interesting touch with brick, stucco, and stone combo.
This is beautiful and like the color combination.
Interesting way to make use of the terrain. We might think about some rock walls.
We really like the woodwork on the ceiling.
We are interested in a greenhouse for vegetable gardens that the deer can't eat. really like this one. Looking for something toward bottom end of property.
We noticed the grooves in the arches and pillars. Maybe screens?
We may want to look at buildig in drop shades on the back patio for that afternoon sun.
The more we look at this the more ideas come out. Very similar to our design with large balcony on top. Lower level going out to fire pit and maybe pool. We really like the rounded stairs on each side. Nice pillars and arches. Lots about this we really like.
Another idea for a water feature to drown out traffic noise.
We prefer rounded firepit raised high enough so grandkids can't fall in with wooden rockers surrounding. Nice rock wall.
Only item here is lighting over the bed for reading. Is there a way to have focused lighting for each of us to help reading but not disturb the other person? Almost like lighting in an airplane.
This is more our style. We like the colors and the combination of wood and treatments. If we had a gas fireplace we would want it facing the bed.
Interesting in exploring these kind of terraced walls going down the property in the back. Possibly 3 levels.
This might be worth talking about for the patio.
Obviously we are into arches. We also like the flooring tile. if we end up with a walkway in the design this is a nice start.
We're not into the spanish tiles. We do like the wood flooring design and would like to consider it as an option.
We really like everything about this outdoor kitchen. Stonework. Ceiling material. Windows to breakfast area. Arches. Perfect!
Another good picture.
This could be our view as well. Nice transition to outdoor kitchen in background.
Downstairs patio area off game room?
Interesting sink idea.
Not sure we want to do this but an idea.
Another great view of patio.
Looks very much like our property view.
Nive back porches. Very much like we envision.
Closeup of the stonework and nice covering over entryways.
Breakfast nook idea off kitchen and leading to outdoor kitchen?
Another view of this house in Austin.
OK this house is just continuing to impress. Nice big windows and a nice outdor kitchen.
Nice and wide open main floor going out to patio.
Very interesting stonework and covered entry. Keep coming back to this house. Road trip to Austin!
This is a nice way to do the rounded feature that looks nice on the outside as well.
Note the patio and the firepit outside the MBR.
Nice entry and nice lighting features.
Most of the pics I am loding today are from the same house in Austin. Maybe we should take a road trip to see?
Very nice patio ideas here. Similar view from our property.
Nice doors. Would not want to be able to see inside from the outside though.
Here is the inside view.
Might be too dark but nice cabinetry. Might be nice to bring in some of the stonework here.
