This typical 70’s bathroom with a sunken tile bath and bright wallpaper was transformed into a Zen-like luxury bath. A custom designed Japanese soaking tub was built with its water filler descending from a spout in the ceiling, positioned next to a nautilus shaped shower with frameless curved glass lined with stunning gold toned mosaic tile. Custom built cedar cabinets with a linen closet adorned with twigs as door handles. Gorgeous flagstone flooring and customized lighting accentuates this beautiful creation to surround yourself in total luxury and relaxation.

Mackworth Island Home Remodel

This project started as a cramped cape with little character and extreme water damage, but over the course of several months, it was transformed into a striking modern home with all the bells and whistles. Being just a short walk from Mackworth Island, the homeowner wanted to capitalize on the excellent location, so everything on the exterior and interior was replaced and upgraded. Walls were torn down on the first floor to make the kitchen, dining, and living areas more open to one another. A large dormer was added to the entire back of the house to increase the ceiling height in both bedrooms and create a more functional space. Featuring a herringbone mosaic marble for the shower floor, custom bench with quartz top to match the vanity, recessed shampoo niche with matching pencil edging and an extended glass surround, you feel the difference from basic economy to first class when you step into this space ✈️ The Kohler Purist shower system consists of a ceiling mounted rain head, handheld wand sprayer and wall mounted shower head that features innovative Katalyst air-induction technology, which efficiently mixes air and water to produce large water droplets and deliver a powerful, thoroughly drenching overhead shower experience, simulating the soaking deluge of a warm summer downpour. We love the vibrant brushed bronze finish on these fixtures as it brings out the sultry effect in the bathroom and when paired with classic marble it adds a clean, minimal feel whilst also being the showstopper of the space ?

Rénovation d'un triplex de 70m² dans un Hôtel Particulier situé dans le Marais. Le premier enjeu de ce projet était de retravailler et redéfinir l'usage de chacun des espaces de l'appartement. Le jeune couple souhaitait également pouvoir recevoir du monde tout en permettant à chacun de rester indépendant et garder son intimité. Ainsi, chaque étage de ce triplex offre un grand volume dans lequel vient s'insérer un usage : Au premier étage, l'espace nuit, avec chambre et salle d'eau attenante. Au rez-de-chaussée, l'ancien séjour/cuisine devient une cuisine à part entière En cours anglaise, l'ancienne chambre devient un salon avec une salle de bain attenante qui permet ainsi de recevoir aisément du monde. Les volumes de cet appartement sont baignés d'une belle lumière naturelle qui a permis d'affirmer une palette de couleurs variée dans l'ensemble des pièces de vie. Les couleurs intenses gagnent en profondeur en se confrontant à des matières plus nuancées comme le marbre qui confèrent une certaine sobriété aux espaces. Dans un jeu de variations permanentes, le clair-obscur révèle les contrastes de couleurs et de formes et confère à cet appartement une atmosphère à la fois douce et élégante.

This walk in shower replaced a dated tub in this space. We were able to make the shower larger than the tub space and added the stationary glass panel to keep the bathroom clean and open. The niche gives a place for toiletries. The two shower heads can be worked independently or together. The hexagon backsplash was designed to bring extra interest to the space.
