Sexton Stair
The existing house was completed in the 70’s and is certainly unique however it had started to look a little dated and the new owners have an eclectic but more contemporary style that the current house was missing.
Our goal was to create a contemporary focal point in the room by replacing a dated and unsafe stair with a new stair that better reflects the style of the current owners. In addition we wanted to keep it as visually light as possible and avoid disrupting the existing adjacent finishes as much as possible.
The curved stair is a sharp contrast to the angles of the house and is a very modern and sleek addition to the otherwise simple living room.
