This was a remodel of the homeowners "florida room" - the roofline used to be much lower, and we had to raise the ceiling line to make it taller so that we could have as much of the door be glass and open space to see the great view. We put in travertine tiles in the Florida Room which was then carried out to the new patio, but the existing pool - previously, was much larger, however they were looking for something more along the lines of a "dipping pool" so we replaced the larger pool with a smaller pool with additional levels. The deck was extended and we planted new palm trees and new landscaping. We also incorporated water features alongside the pool to give the feel of a unique aquatic oasis.

Durante le lunghe e calde giornate d’estate non c’è niente di meglio di un tuffo rinfrescante in piscina. Spesso considerata un lusso, essa può avere varie funzioni: può essere un posto dove divertirsi con i bambini o con gli amici, fare attività fisica o semplicemente rilassarsi. Inoltre, l’aggiunta di una piscina non solo valorizza il tuo giardino da un punto di vista estetico ma accresce anche il valore della tua proprietà. Se decidi di costruire una piscina fuori terra o interrata è importante dapprima misurare lo spazio a disposizione per determinare grandezza, forma e stile adatti a te. Successivamente è necessario consultare uno specialista: a seconda di quello che desideri costruire vi sono molti aspetti tecnici da chiarire così come eventuali permessi da richiedere. Infine, pensa ai vari accessori che desideri includere, quali ad es. un trampolino, uno scivolo oppure una fontana o dei giochi d’acqua. Eccoti dunque alcuni consigli e suggerimenti su come costruire una piscina e arredare la zona intorno alla stessa.

Quale tipo di piscina installare?

A determinare il tipo di piscina che andrai a costruire o installare sono le dimensioni del tuo giardino o spazio esterno, il budget a disposizione nonché il clima generale della zona in cui abiti. Le piscine interrate, ad esempio, richiedono maggior impegno, spazio e tempo e sono dunque un investimento da considerare soprattutto se si vive in un luogo con estati caldi ed inverni miti. Altrimenti puoi optare per l’installazione di una piscina interna con vetrate mobili che puoi aprire durante l’estate. In ogni caso, vista la natura dei lavori e le relative autorizzazioni che la costruzione di piscine interrate richiede, si consiglia di rivolgersi ad una ditta specializzata. Un’opzione per chi invece desidera concedersi il lusso di una piscina senza investire tuttavia troppo tempo e denaro in questo tipo di progetto sono le piscine fuori terra. Esse offrono il vantaggio di non essere una struttura fissa e pertanto - a dipendenza del modello - possono essere smontante una volta che la bella stagione è terminata. Se invece lo spazio a disposizione è poco, una buona soluzione sono le minipiscine. Esse sono disponibili in varie dimensioni e con optional quali l’idromassaggio e il sistema di nuoto contro corrente. Inoltre possono essere installate sia fuori che dentro. In questo modo puoi creare una spa tutta tua che puoi goderti durante tutto l’anno.

Quali sono i materiali adatti per la mia piscina

La qualità dei materiali determina la durata di vita della tua piscina. Le piscine in vetroresina sono sicuramente una buona soluzione: esse possono essere installate in breve tempo e a costi contenuti. Tuttavia essendo una struttura interamente prefabbricata in monoblocco o a due blocchi offre meno libertà per quanto concerne grandezza e forma. Inoltre, lo strato superficiale di questo tipo di vasca tende a degradare più velocemente rispetto ad altri materiali e dunque a creparsi con gli anni. Le strutture in acciaio sono semplici da installare e si distinguono per la loro leggerezza ed elasticità. Esse offrono inoltre maggiore libertà per quanto riguarda forma e grandezza ma non nella scelta del rivestimento: in questo caso l’unica opzione è il liner in pvc. Le piscine interrate in cemento armato offrono elevata durabilità e massima libertà per quanto riguarda i rivestimenti: dal gres porcellanato ai mosaici tutto è possibile.

Quali accessori per piscine scegliere?

Con una piscina il divertimento è assicurato. Tuttavia è possibile massimizzarlo aggiungendo ad esempio uno scivolo, un trampolino o magari anche una cascata. Per concedersi dei momenti di relax in acqua non possono mancare poltrone e materassini gonfiabili e - perché no - dei getti idromassaggio. Sedie a sdraio e ombrelloni sono indispensabili per rendere rilassante e confortevole anche lo spazio intorno alla piscina. Per creare una suggestiva atmosfera notturna per il tuo prossimo party la giusta illuminazione è un must. Installa dei fari subacquei nella tua vasca e trasforma la tua piscina in protagonista.
