Mike Farley Pool Designer, SWD, ASLAStunning private oasis in Colleyville, TX designed by Mike Farley and recently on HGTV's "Ultimate Pools" Shangri-La Pool. This project was constructed for privacy and relaxation. It has multiple water features including slate water walls, double rain falls coming out of a 10' arbor, fire bowls, water bowls, rain fall into spa, full outdoor kitchen, elevation changes, flagstone beach entry, large tanning ledge from tanning ledge to rain curtain, hidden grotto, diving slab, built in table. All put together it creates the perfect tranquil, private oasis with cascading waters all around. Taylor's Backyard CenterYou wouldn't know it but his gorgeous backyard is actually nestled in a fairly populated residential area. This client created a secluded oasis for their simple rectangle vinyl liner pool. This Coast Spas hot tub was set partially in ground in custom stamped concrete.

OMNIA Group ArchitectsWhat happens when everything and everyone comes together? This project, an outdoor living and entertainment environment anchored by an OMNIA Group Architects designed poolhouse, is a perfect example of synergy of client and a team of skilled and talented professionals and craftsman. It started with a sophisticated client looking to put in a pool - but they wanted something special and the form they decided on was a beautiful shape which blended the shapes of their land, the sun and the existing house structure (also designed by OMNIA Group Architects.) The client had toyed with the idea of a cabana / pool house of some sort and contacted us to design it. We worked together to create an indoor - outdoor experience of infinite flexibility. Featuring folding walls of glass (www.nanawall.com) this wood and stone and stucco structure seamlessly blends formality and a sleek nature inspired modern character. This essence is enhanced by neutral hues which reflect the colors of the home and the pool decking. These neutrals are punctuated by natural wood browns and subtle greens on the cabinetry. The poolhouse is comprised of an encloseable dining space, an arbor capped living space which features a fireplace for cooler fall nights, a dressing area with washer dryer and ingenious OMNIA Group Architects designed cabinetry for towels and storage and finally a cool simple powder room. A typical example of the melding of features is how the vertical grain of the grass colored bamboo bar cabinet doors mimic the tall modern grasses specified by the landscape designer, Landscape Design Group. The pool was designed and built by Armond Pools. THe project is located in Skippack, Pennsylvania.
Mike Farley Pool Designer, SWD, ASLABeautiful modern pool project in Southlake, TX designed by Mike Farley. It has a large cabana with a outdoor kitchen and fireplace. The hillside was terraced to create different gathering areas. The desire for great water features resulted in the back of the fire feature creating an awesome sound with a water wall and the cabana bench back created a spot for the sheer descents. The lush tropical plantings accented with raised planters and synthetic grass provide privacy with the neighbors and will grow into paradise. Constructed by Claffey Pools & landscape by Joey Designs.
