Archadeck of AustinAt the other end of the pergola, we built new stone columns around the pergola’s support posts. Those columns flank the new rectangular gas-burning fire pit we built for this space. Instead of building the columns and stone fire pit on the existing concrete patio, we built this structure OFF the patio. We peeled back the AstroTurf next to the patio and placed the new stone structure here to avoid losing usable patio space.

The field of the patio features Unilock’s Beacon Hill Flagstone pavers in the platinum color, and the darker soldier course features Unilock’s Series 3000 pavers in black granite. We built the outer edge of the patio with Unilock’s Ledgestone.

This AirBnb remodel it is joyful, hip and functional. I was hired to design, procure and set up this one bedroom private apartment, an Austin jewel nestled in Windsor Park.
The bedroom, living room and dining space are furnished in bold colors and fun and eclectic style with a nod to Moroccan vibes.
Take time to relax in the private outdoor area designated to you and your guest. We painted the fence a bright happy color and faced it with a colorful mural, making the space bright and fun. Chair lounge chairs, fire pit, café lights and grill finish the space making it party ready. Herb garden, succulent arrangement and fun, colorful metal art and décor add pops of color and interest.

Archadeck of Akron OHFor this project we built a custom stain and stamp concrete patio in a 36" Ashlar stamp pattern. Working with the slope of the yard, we incorporated a hardscape retaining wall into the project. The low wall embraces the patio and creates a visual boundary for the space. An additional hardscape element is the gas-burning fire pit. We built these hardscapes with Techno-bloc blocks and wall caps.

Archadeck of Northeast DallasTo expand outdoor living area options, we also built a shed roof detached covered cabana toward the rear of the backyard – a great space for daytime summer picnics and alfresco dining.
Urban Oasis Landscape DesignIn a corner of the yard sits fire pit with a circular stone bench which is built from the excavated concrete of the original deck. The bench and plant beds are all gently curving to soften the straight angles of the pool and improve the flow of the yard. The perimeter wall is finished in a custom blend of moss green Santa Barbara stucco. Square cutouts soften the wall and a custom redwood pergola is planted with grape vines.

Archadeck - ColumbusThis stunning project, a combination hardscape, deck, pergola and fire pit project in the Ballantrae subdivision of Dublin, Ohio, is a work of art.
We built the two pergolas with cedar and stained them to match the decking. The pergolas are more decorative than functional. You can see the top of each pergola consists of two long beams topped with a series of shorter rafters. A pergola designed to cast maximum shade would have a third element on top, a series of thinner slats running across the rafters. Here, the larger pergola serves to define the primary dining area, and the smaller one enforces the boundary at the edge of the patio.
