Lakeside Drive
Our clients live on an iconic site on a private road in Esher. The houses on the road are built in the modernist style and were designed by leading architect Royston Summers in 1975. They won many awards from amongst others the RIBA. Our client’s is the first house on the access road that stretches around the site and links the other properties that circle the central lake.
Our client wanted to maximise the sale price of his property by implementing a self-contained living area constructed above the garage with access from the first floor. The first floor accommodation will comprise a master bedroom, a bathroom with shower and a dressing room. The bedroom and bathroom with have windows overlooking the lake. Windows are to be fitted with internal shutters and blinds for privacy when required.
The design is so strong and clear that the proposed extension will match that of the existing as much as possible.
