House for Two Free Spirits
The "Aerie" is a bright little space at the top of the stairwell with a view of the Kalama River. My client uses this space for contemplation and writing (on his laptop). Books and art are displayed on the shelves. The wrought iron railing is constructed with top and bottom rails, and many iterations and variations of a single pre-fab wrought iron picket.
