Bath BespokeView of the wine wall which was designed to hold and display 128 bottles of wine! The glazed doors on either side of the wine wall were crafted from Accoya wood and finished in house with Farrow & Ball Railings, while the cabinets were made from walnut. Once crafted, the central carcasses were fitted with a series of solid brass bars—slotted in by hand. This complemented the brass inlay which was inserted throughout the panels.
To finish off this centrepiece, an antique mirror effect wallpaper was fitted on the back wall to create a sense of opulence and to reflect light around the room. This beautifully complimented the stunning Nero Marquina stone worktop and the Armac Martin solid brass handles on the doors.

RenovisionsCollecting wine became an interest for our clients and the more they gathered wines they liked, the more storage became an issue. These South Shore of Boston customers approached Renovisions, inc. to build a wine cellar in a section of the basement in their 1890 colonial and Cathy and Ed were up for the challenge.
Environmental factors of their space, what was required by proper wine storage, including maintaining the temperature and humidity level was all taken into consideration when putting together a design which would ensure the wines integrity over the years. A detailed plan was discussed with the homeowners and their style “must-haves” and budgetary considerations were incorporated into final plans to build a 1500 bottle capacity wine cellar. The customers wanted a more rustic, casual elegance which would boast a beautiful large fieldstone hallway and a custom arched top mahogany multi light exterior door for full insulated value. Having the beams exposed was an important design element for our clients, so it required the use of R-7/inch spray foam insulation with rustic barn boards covering it and then stained to match. Mahogany wine racks were assembled over hand-scraped teak wood flooring.
The basement window was replaced with a new energy efficient window and a custom ordered stained glass of a mermaid design was installed over the new window as an overlay from the adverse effects of sunlight on the wine. Rustic lighting was chosen to reflect the old world charm we sought out to create.

The doors close onto the internal carcass gasket, that creates an airtight seal. Once closed they automatically lock via an internal fob controlled built-in locking system. The RFID fob reader has been concealed inside the wine displays external cabinetry side wall, in a location selected by the client. Scanning the fob over this area of the displays external sidewalls will unlock the doors.

Rather than remove the existing structural posts, they were incorporated into the design to make for a striking modern take on the home bar.
VJ linings and blackbutt flooring complement the existing traditional home, whilst feature lighting, a composite stone benchtop, laminate panelling, and dramatic battening work with the overhead gantry to keep the project up to date.
