LaurelRockThis was a creative collaboration with ROBIN KRAMER GARDEN DESIGN (their design combined with LaurelRock's plant installation and pruning).
We used proper pruning techniques to square the hornbeam, green velvet, and 'Dee Runk' boxwood hedges, along with the pleaching of the linden trees.

Native Plant ScapesBeautyberry fruits are a food source for many birds (>10 species) and small mammals. It also provides cover for birds and small wildlife. In addition, flowers attract pollinators for both pollen and nectar. The Rustic Sphinx uses Beautyberry as a larval host. Deer browse on the twigs and leaves in the spring and summer. They will also eat the berries after they have fallen.

Native Edge LandscapeCustomer wanted to ditch their grass yard in favor of colorful native plants that would create a charming scene for friends and neighbors alike. They dreamed of a gathering space in their front yard that looked out over their native plantings, so we added a seating area with cafe lights and raised steel planters so that the plantings could be enjoyed while seated. Black star gravel was added for furniture and plant contrast, making them pop against the home and landscaping.

Karl Harrison Landscapes LtdGarden design and landscaping Amersham.
This beautiful home in Amersham needed a garden to match. Karl stepped in to offer a complete garden design for both front and back gardens. Once the design was approved Karl and his team were also asked to carry out the landscaping works.
With a large space to cover Karl chose to use mass planting to help create new zones within the garden. This planting was also key to getting lots of colours spread throughout the spaces.
In these new zones, Karl was able to use more structural materials to make the spaces more defined as well as private. These structural elements include raised Millboard composite decking which also forms a large bench. This creates a secluded entertaining zone within a large bespoke Technowood black pergola.
Within the planting specification, Karl allowed for a wide range of trees. Here is a flavour of the trees and a taste of the flowering shrubs…

You will notice in the planting scheme there are various large rocks. These are weathered limestone rocks from CED. We intentionally planted Soleirolia soleirolii and ferns around them to encourage more moss to grow on them.

This is a front yard design for S. He wants something clean and easy maintenance. He want three layers for his front yard, and we did a tree ring for the path lots.
UserA scheme comprising a shared garden for residents of newly converted flats in Ealing, West London. Alexandra's scope also included design of the front drive, an inner courtyard and small roof terrace.
A bespoke concrete seating area was cast in-situ and incorporates a generous planter filled with grasses interspersed with Taxus baccata domes. The client’s love of olives led to beds of young trees underplanted with Mediterranean species such as Lavandula and Santolina sited both sides of the lawn.
Another stipulation of the client’s brief was that the garden should include a lap pool. Alexandra’s design incorporates turquoise mosaic tiles internally along with a bullnose Yorkstone coping. A summer flowering Cornus florida f. rubra was selected to provide beautiful colour alongside the pool in the summertime months. A row of tall Betula amongst herbaceous planting sit on the rear boundary of the garden to screen the train line behind.
