Dining Room Stained Glass
The dining room of this home was located on the second floor of this home in Austin. One of the most notable features in the space was three large windows on the wall behind the dining table. Our clients loved how the windows brought brightness and shine to their dining room, but they were displeased with the view that they offered. Right across the way, another two story home had been built. Therefore, their dining room windows opened up to their neighbor’s brick walls.
Not only did this ruin the aesthetic of their dining area, but it also created a feeling of discomfort because anyone could see right into their living space. But covering up the windows with shades or blinds would make the room seem dark and dim. So we created stained glass panels to replace their old windows. The windows added privacy to their dining space and also created a more pleasant aesthetic experience. The panels were designed to have a contemporary look that matched the furniture and decor in their home.
