Contemporary in Kirkland
A distinctly modern custom home in Kirkland needed a suitably fresh landscape treatment. Expanses of ornamental grass and flowering trees create a sense of flow and endless space in the backyard, while architectural planting sets of the entry. Steel walls frame the front garden and bright containers compliment the colorful touches on the house. Columnar trees set off the architecture on the street side of the house, changing colors with the seasons and providing dramatic forms at night.
