Idee per una grande sala da pranzo contemporanea

Casa CMP

The building is organized on the area starting from basic notions such as the morphology of the land and the distances from the neighboring plots, buildings and streets with the aim of guaranteeing excellent sun exposure and natural light in terms of efficiency and energy saving for the most lived-in rooms. The new construction intends to establish strong relationships with the surroundings, both from a landscape, spatial and material point of view, through the use of forms and materials rooted to the tradition. The new building results from the aggregation of simple forms that are typical of the rural settlements in Versilia, often the result of various extensions and annexes over time. As these annexes used to structure the space and the relational void into courtyards and farmyards, the new construction also aims to structure the void as an extension of the interior, creating a building rooted to the territory that creates a strong relationship with the outdoor, with its views, its vegetation and the landscape. The internal space organization reflects the simple aggregation of the volumes defining the building, two large spaces that intersect in the mudroom and entrance area; the spaces differ in finishes and degree of protection and silence and openness to the landscape to ensure maximum flexibility of use.
