There was enough space at the end of the dining room area to add a bar like serving area as well as extra storage for expensive dishware or overflow from the kitchen. By putting base cabinets in the middle, a serving area was created where the homeowners could leave out liquor or food for their guests. The two large pantries and base cabinets frame out the artwork on the wall balancing out the focal point from the other end of the room.
