This contemporary house, nestled in the redwoods on a spectacular 100 acre site overlooking the Pacific, is a collage distinctive shapes along the rustic Northern California coastline.
This environmentally sensitive house is constructed of all natural materials, celebrating the outdoors while capturing the spectacular views of the rugged Californian coast. The rough sawn cedar frame and standing seam copper roofs create a series of lofty spaces which are equally dramatic inside and out. The exposed framing provides a rich yet rustic character for this cozy family residence.
Meticulous attention to detail and design included everything from hand forged doorknobs to custom lighting fixtures. A guest house and garage have been added to the complex and plans for a barn and caretakers quarters are underway.
