K T Highland, Inc.Floor and plumbing fixtures were replaced in powder room off the adjoining hallway. The existing pedestal sink was replaced with the Kohler Archer petite vanity which provided storage space while also keeping the small space open.
Everything HomeEvery detail of this European villa-style home exudes a uniquely finished feel. Our design goals were to invoke a sense of travel while simultaneously cultivating a homely and inviting ambience. This project reflects our commitment to crafting spaces seamlessly blending luxury with functionality.
In the powder room, the existing vanity, featuring a thick rock-faced stone top and viny metal base, served as the centerpiece. The prior Italian vineyard mural, loved by the clients, underwent a transformation into the realm of French Art Deco. The space was infused with a touch of sophistication by incorporating polished black, glistening glass, and shiny gold elements, complemented by exquisite Art Deco wallpaper, all while preserving the unique character of the client's vanity.

Kowalske Kitchen & BathThis Waukesha bathroom remodel was unique because the homeowner needed wheelchair accessibility. We designed a beautiful master bathroom and met the client’s ADA bathroom requirements.
Original Space
The old bathroom layout was not functional or safe. The client could not get in and out of the shower or maneuver around the vanity or toilet. The goal of this project was ADA accessibility.
ADA Bathroom Requirements
All elements of this bathroom and shower were discussed and planned. Every element of this Waukesha master bathroom is designed to meet the unique needs of the client. Designing an ADA bathroom requires thoughtful consideration of showering needs.
Open Floor Plan – A more open floor plan allows for the rotation of the wheelchair. A 5-foot turning radius allows the wheelchair full access to the space.
Doorways – Sliding barn doors open with minimal force. The doorways are 36” to accommodate a wheelchair.
Curbless Shower – To create an ADA shower, we raised the sub floor level in the bedroom. There is a small rise at the bedroom door and the bathroom door. There is a seamless transition to the shower from the bathroom tile floor.
Grab Bars – Decorative grab bars were installed in the shower, next to the toilet and next to the sink (towel bar).
Handheld Showerhead – The handheld Delta Palm Shower slips over the hand for easy showering.
Shower Shelves – The shower storage shelves are minimalistic and function as handhold points.
Non-Slip Surface – Small herringbone ceramic tile on the shower floor prevents slipping.
ADA Vanity – We designed and installed a wheelchair accessible bathroom vanity. It has clearance under the cabinet and insulated pipes.
Lever Faucet – The faucet is offset so the client could reach it easier. We installed a lever operated faucet that is easy to turn on/off.
Integrated Counter/Sink – The solid surface counter and sink is durable and easy to clean.
ADA Toilet – The client requested a bidet toilet with a self opening and closing lid. ADA bathroom requirements for toilets specify a taller height and more clearance.
Heated Floors – WarmlyYours heated floors add comfort to this beautiful space.
Linen Cabinet – A custom linen cabinet stores the homeowners towels and toiletries.
Style
The design of this bathroom is light and airy with neutral tile and simple patterns. The cabinetry matches the existing oak woodwork throughout the home.

Angelica Hoffmann Arquitetura e InterioresApós 8 anos no apartamento, morando conforme o padrão entregue pela construtora, os proprietários resolveram fazer um projeto que refletisse a identidade deles. Desafio aceito! Foram 3 meses de projeto, 2 meses de orçamentos/planejamento e 4 meses de obra.
Aproveitamos os móveis existentes, criamos outros necessários, aproveitamos o piso de madeira. Instalamos ar condicionado em todos os dormitórios e sala e forro de gesso somente nos ambientes necessários.
Na sala invertemos o layout criando 3 ambientes. A sala de jantar ficou mais próxima à cozinha e recebeu a peça mais importante do projeto, solicitada pela cliente, um lustre de cristal. Um estar junto do cantinho do bar. E o home theater mais próximo à entrada dos quartos e próximo à varanda, onde ficou um cantinho para relaxar e ler, com uma rede e um painel verde com rega automatizada. Na cozinha de móveis da Elgin Cuisine, trocamos o piso e revestimos as paredes de fórmica.
Na suíte do casal, colocamos forro de gesso com sanca e repaginamos as paredes com papel de parede branco, deixando o espaço clean e chique. Para o quarto do Mateus de 9 anos, utilizamos uma decoração que facilmente pudesse mudar na chegada da sua adolescência. Fã de Corinthians e de uma personalidade forte, solicitou que uma frase de uma música inspiradora fosse escrita na parede. O artista plástico Ronaldo Cazuza fez a arte a mão-livre. Os brinquedos ainda ficaram, mas as cores mais sóbrias da parede, mesa lateral, tapete e cortina deixam espaço para futura mutação menino-garoto. A cadeira amarela deixa o espaço mais descontraído.
Todos os banheiros foram 100% repaginados, cada um com revestimentos que mais refletiam a personalidade de cada morador, já que cada um tem o seu privativo. No lavabo aproveitamos o piso e bancada de mármores e trocamos a cuba, metais e papel de parede.

The 1970's bath was completely remodeled to create an eclectic exotic mix of Moorish, India, Indonesian, Asian and Spanish styles. The bath reflects the individual style of its Cosmopolitan owners.
Dream Home ConstructionIn this bathroom remodel we removed the wall that divide between the tub and the vanity, modified the tub to a large shower with multiple shower heads. vanity reface and resurface to granite tops and finished with frameless shower door.
UserGuests of this modern mountain home are treated to high style in the guest bathroom. A large floating vanity, made of honey stained alder, is topped with off-white quartz countertops. The undermount sink is serviced by a gunmetal finished faucet from Watermark Designs. Soft lighting installed below the vanity provides an elegant accent, while creating the perfect night light for visitors. The textured floor tile in soft green is repeated in a smaller size in the shower. The shower’s feature wall in shades of rust and ivory coordinates with the crisp ivory walls and ceiling of this elegant space.

Castle Building & RemodelingNo strangers to remodeling, the new owners of this St. Paul tudor knew they could update this decrepit 1920 duplex into a single-family forever home.
A list of desired amenities was a catalyst for turning a bedroom into a large mudroom, an open kitchen space where their large family can gather, an additional exterior door for direct access to a patio, two home offices, an additional laundry room central to bedrooms, and a large master bathroom. To best understand the complexity of the floor plan changes, see the construction documents.
As for the aesthetic, this was inspired by a deep appreciation for the durability, colors, textures and simplicity of Norwegian design. The home’s light paint colors set a positive tone. An abundance of tile creates character. New lighting reflecting the home’s original design is mixed with simplistic modern lighting. To pay homage to the original character several light fixtures were reused, wallpaper was repurposed at a ceiling, the chimney was exposed, and a new coffered ceiling was created.
Overall, this eclectic design style was carefully thought out to create a cohesive design throughout the home.

Cabinet-S-TopThis whole condominium was renovated. The new fireplace tile surround is 6x6 Sanibel Beachcomber Crackle tile and the hearth is 18x36 Basaltine, white matte tile. New flooring was Installed in the great room with new Triversa Luxury Vinyl plank 9”x48” Oakrest in Gold wash. In the kitchen, Medallion Lancaster/Potter’s Mill Flat Panel cabinetry and the existing solid surface countertop was reinstalled. A Brio ceiling light was installed over the sink, a Moen Camerist faucet in Spot Resist Stainless and on the floor is 18x18 Panetola tile in Talsano Travertine. In the main bathroom, Medallion Winston vanity in Divinity Classic paint with Cambria Praa Sands quartz countertop and on the floor is 12x12 Milestone East Beige porcelain tile. A new Berkshire mirror was installed. Moen Eva collection in brushed nickel finish was installed in both bathrooms. In the guest bathroom, new Cambria Wentwood quartz was installed on the existing vanity and Regis beige porcelain tile installed on the floor.
