Bill Holt di Flourish Landscape Design ha trasformato lo spazio verde del cortile interno in un’area ben suddivisa con zone a tema. «Ora ci sono fioriere di varie altezze, una zona gioco dove i bambini possono rotolarsi e dondolarsi, piante di recinzione, un’originale struttura di mattoni da utilizzare come panca e un focolare interrato» afferma Miller. Accanto alla casa è stato realizzato un patio con pavimentazione in pietra dura per i pranzi e le grigliate all’aperto.

Check with local salvage yards and material warehouses. You may be able to score a pallet of bricks for a patio or redwood boards for a fence at a fraction of the price of purchasing them new.
