brick wall new leash of life!

Hi all, any idea on how best to clean up this wall? Thanks

    I think you can get different grades of wire brush, softer, stiffer etc. A pressure washer may blast out the mortar and cause more harm than good.

      You can buy brick cleaner from most DIY stores like B&Q and apply it with a wire brush and rinse off with a hose. Ensure the manufacturers instructions are followed tho, especially H&S as it is a mild acid. Move children's play equipment away and make sure no children are allowed back in the garden until all washing and rinsing completed and all dried up.

      That’s an impressive wall. Have we perhaps seen it here on Houzz before?

      Im no expert and not doubting Ikon’s expertise, but I was wondering if a wire brush can perhaps be a little destructive?

      Jet washing ( Karsher type) would clean that in no time...
