The new deck, although smaller, doesn’t feel so because it was redesigned so well. The project mostly stayed within the budget, with a few unexpected charges related to unexpected wood rot that was discovered. I was particularly impressed with how Dave handled discussions about the charges. He is very empathetic and understanding and was willing to work with us. Beyond budget and design, we found Dave’s crew extraordinary. Every worker was polite, stopped working and addressed questions, even helped with a couple of things outside of the project. They were all professional and kind. We love our new deck. It is something we will enjoy for decades. With such a large investment, we wanted a company and crew we could trust to do a great job.
