“We recently upgraded our staircase with Wood & Art Stairs and are thrilled with the results. I found them through friend recommendation and got a fast response from Andrew. He helped us pick out everything, from the type of wood to the style of the rails and spindles. The plans were clear and everything was ready before they started making anything. The installation team was quick and friendly! They paid a lot of attention to getting everything just right. Changing your staircase isn't something you do often, but if you're going to do it, I'd recommend this company. They were great from start to finish, and the new stairs look just how I hoped they would.”

“Very pleased we used this company for 2 flights of stairs for our self build project. Great too work with from start to finish. We love the finished product , which includes stair treads and handrails stained to perfectly match our chevron , smoked ,white oiled parquet flooring . Highly recommend.”

“Designed and built a bespoke steel and glass zigzag staircase for my North London Maisonette. Is now the centerpiece to the open plan area and a better result than could ever have been designed in wood, which was the original plan. Company were a pleasure to deal with and very professional. You felt they were constructing something for their own home, such was the care and attention to detail. Will definitely be using Essex Design for my new terrace/stairs in the spring of 2013. Thank you.”
