“We recently moved to an updated home in an older neighborhood with a small, tired side-yard. We needed a transformation; what we got was a miracle. We consulted with a landscape architect who helped with the design. She recommended we hire Rooted Craftsmen, LLC to do the work, primarily because we needed an experienced stone mason who was capable of making the new construction match the unique finishes on the outside of the home. Rooted Craftsmen did everything: they completely removed all of the old landscaping, leveled the yard and rebuilt from the ground up, including sprinklers, lighting and electric distribution, gas lines, planting beds, sod, etc. The owner, David Garcia, isn’t just a contractor – he’s truly a craftsman. He planned carefully, had a great eye for detail, made many recommendations on how we could tweak the design and function of the yard and ultimately constructed the improvements with a degree of quality and care that made us feel like he was doing the kind of work he would do at his own home. The end result was a fabulous stone bench, fire pit and outdoor kitchen that is the envy of the neighborhood. Anyone can build, but what Rooted Craftsman delivered was functional, artistic and will probably last 100 years given the quality of the work. THANK YOU DAVID!”

Came on time, took the measurements, asked the right questions and did a good job explaining their process. “There is no one more knowledgable about concrete than Bill Cushman, owner. He and his crew laid a colored and textured concrete walkway from our front door to the street (approx. 40ft long x 5ft wide). We received a fair quote for the work. The crew showed up on time and worked diligently until the job was done. One day. My husband and I were more than pleased with the result! As a side note - I was very impressed to learn that his employees have been with him for around 10 years - that says something about the company! It was evident in the wonderful esprit de corps they exhibited.”
