“We recently completed a major renovation on the upper floor of our bungalow. The major part of the reno was to flip the two biggest spaces where our kitchen became our new living room and our living room became our new kitchen. This idea was partly inspired by Christine but completely supported.
We had done virtually nothing to our home since purchasing it in 1995 so this was a very new process for us. Christine was incredibly patient as we considered idea after idea. She had a demeanour that kept us on track and made us feel like our ideas had merit. She wanted us to take the lead on the design because it was our home. But she then took our ideas and created a picture where we could see the transformation from a project to a home.
Christine made this process as easy as it could be for us. She took care of some little things along the way just when she could sense it was a little overwhelming. She was reassuring through the entire process and we felt that her genuine effort to make a personal connection made a huge difference.
Perhaps the biggest compliment we can give her is that when we walked into our new home the project was completed exactly how we envisioned it. And it felt like home. Christine deserves a lot of the credit for making that happen.”

“We worked with Parkyn Design on our new home build. Soon after our architectural plans were done, we got Tania Parkyn and her team involved in the process. This timing was paramount to them understanding our big vision.
Three things stand out from our work with Parkyn Design. First, one of the biggest strengths Tania demonstrated was her ability to really listen and understand what we wanted. She really did hear everything we said: our ideas, our dreams, our likes, our dislikes. We saw proof of this in the end results when our home seemed to fit us like a glove.
Second, Tania’s experience ensured that our home would be timeless, yet incredibly unique and personal to us. Because Parkyn Design is current with trends and ahead of the curve on what’s coming, we were introduced to new products and materials which made the choices for everything both practical and leading edge.

“I had initially hired Felicia to help me get some style into the home. Although the end goal was to sell the home, she was hired for more than just 'staging'. Since a 'for sale' sign was inevitable, the budget was minimal. Felicia did an outstanding job with the paint colour selection, furniture selection and placement of furniture. My home looks like what you'd find in a home decorator magazine. As a result, I've fallen in love with this place and have had no desire to move. I would not make any major decorating decisions without her. She is also an excellent source of decorating info. Thanks Felicia!”

“We decided to build a cottage. Instead of a popular cookie cutter cottage design offered by large building companies we decided to build a custom cottage from the ground up. Before a single decision was made we reached out to Margarida. Our previous experiences with Margarida were excellent and we knew we wouldn’t get the desired beautiful effect without Margarida’s expertise and her amazing attention to detail. Margarida was involved in the process right from the beginning. She helped us with colours, patterns, choice of stone, siding, windows etc.. Once the cottage was completed on the outside, Margarida’s amazing interior design talents were put to work and she wasted no time in creating a gorgeous modern interior living space, which is functional as well as absolutely beautiful. She proved extremely flexible and reliable and was devoted to the project every step of the way. Upon completion, our cottage has become one of the nicest in the neighbourhood and it’s an absolute pleasure to look at and live in. I would highly recommend Margarida’s services to anyone, as she can suit any need or wish.”
