Despite the inevitable chaos that comes with a construction project, they took great care to clean up after themselves, leaving our space organized and livable. It made a significant difference in maintaining our peace of mind throughout the renovation process. My dog and children were still able to play and live and I didn't spend my time worried. “When we decided to have our kitchen and the floor in the adjacent dining room remodeled we wanted to support local businesses and find someone in town to do it. We're so glad we found STG Services. We filled out and submitted the Project Submission form on the STG website. Wayne sent us an email the same day and we set up an appointment for 8AM the following Monday morning. We were very impressed when the doorbell rang at 7:58AM on Monday morning. Wayne was quick, professional, and really seemed to know the business. We received 3 detailed estimates within a week and selected the option which included repairing the kitchen cabinets as needed, painting all doors and cabinets, installing new hardware, a new backsplash, new hardwood kitchen floor with heavy duty water based polyurethane and refinishing the dining room floor. We added staining the floor golden oak and painting a standing cabinet in the kitchen to the project and were satisfied with the added cost. Wayne and Justin were professional, capable and we appreciated the fact that they used plastic sheets to keep the dust to a minimum. They had a great attention to detail and were very thoughtful. We can’t say enough about how pleased we are with how this project went and with STG Services in general. We highly recommend them for any work that may be needed. They are professional, competent and we will contact them again for future work that we need done”

“I had a rather small job, a little "nook" in the kitchen, however it was treated as if it were a whole house. My ideas were listened to and incorporated into the design. The crew came, on time and worked until lunch, they had their lunch and got back to work. They were respectful, polite, there was no rough language and at the end of each day they cleaned up every nail, swept and my kitchen never had that "in process" look to it. When the job was done (and quickly) the crew made sure that they had everything inside and out picked up and put back. I didn't have to go out and clean up the construction site. At the end of the project I was contacted to not only insure that I was happy with the work but to make sure I was happy with the crew as well. I was thoroughly impressed with every aspect of the job from design, crew, work and completion.”

“We did a total renovation of the kitchen, which had last been updated in the 1980's, in our 300 year old Colonial. Everything from the flooring, cabinets, paneling, appliances, lighting, one window, countertop, backsplash and paint was included. The worst part of the process was preparing for construction--packing up everything in the kitchen. Everyone involved, from Platt employees to the subcontractors they work with, was professional, courteous and did their job extremely well. At the end of the day they tidied up and left the space as clean as possible. The project manager was patient and understanding, even when I was a little unnerved when things didn't go as planned. There were no major issues or disappointments. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for a professional, high quality company. It definitely cost more than your average builder but the price was well worth the peace of mind and end result.”
