ā€œI had a great experience with Bob! I found Bob after searching the web for Professionals near me. After meeting with a few different professionals Bob seemed the best for me and my project. He helped me through the entire process, helping me with each step and was great at explaining everything he was going to do, he even came shopping for ideas with me. I am not originally from the US and Bob was very patient in putting it in terms I would understand and explaining the things while comparing them to the European system for me! This is our first home and our first remodel. Bob remodeled our bathrooms from the top down, as well as ripped out all of our piping that was very overdue for replacement. He treated everything with the best respect in our new home. I highly recommend Bob to anyone needing a great professional.ā€

ā€œWe have used Monks several times. Our most recent project involved refinishing our floors and painting some inside of our house. These guys answer their phones, show up on time and give you a quote on their first visit. Then they started on time and finished on time. They weren't the cheapest way to go, but they were the only company I found that could handle the painting, floors and carpentry without subbing everything out. We felt it was worth the money to have one company running the entire project and we were right.ā€

They also put forward ideas for us to consider as the project evolved and offered alternatives that complimented the overall project. ā€œThey gave me a 900 sqft 2nd floor addition with entire 1st floor alterations. This project included a kitchen, three baths, hardwood flooring, roofing, siding, windows, two decks, etc!! They also built a detached garage and took care of all my landscaping. The project was a huge success. They did what was promised and finished before the expected complete date. There price was fair and they stuck to it. There were no extra charges as the project was being done. They were on time, respectful, professional and pleasure to deal with. Everyone in their crew was excellent.ā€

ā€œUPDATE: Since I wrote this review last, I received a response from Gandalf Restorations owner, Alex, who was helpful in getting the issue resolved and cover the cost for the repair of the small chip in the stone. All's well that ultimately ends well! __________________________________________________________________________ We got our kitchen remodeled two years back through Gandolf Restorations. We originally chose them for their professionalism that they showed at the time of presentation. They also had a warranty for their service. Two years later my kitchen counter stone has a chip in it and inspite of approaching and respectfully writing to them more than half a dozen times the owner, Alex, has not responded after his first response. They do an ok job but needed to be micromanaged to get best results. I would not recommend Gandolf or any other business who does not stand behind their work! This is a tiny chip that could be easily filled and they could've saved their company's reputation but it's unacceptable to be non-responsive in a service based business.ā€

ā€œDino installed our kitchen cabinets with perfect precision and detail. He built our island beautifully like a piece of furniture. He sat with us through the entire kitchen design to make sure we got exactly what we wanted and that all designs made sense with functionality and fit. He often followed up with vendors to ensure we got what we paid for and received the best finished product. Dino was a great liaison for us to source the right products and subcontractors, we are not in the construction business and this was our first home and renovation. He spent all the time we needed with us and we never felt rushed. He completed our project down to last detail before moving onto his next job. We felt we could then and still can call him anytime with questions.ā€

They did the job on time and on budget and the finished product is great.ā€
