Overall, everyone was very willing to work with me on any requests I had, and the project was completed on time and within budget (taking into account some surprises inside the walls). He listened to our needs and wants. There was no "hard sell". They were very caring, professional and courteous. (It was extremely nice to see some of the younger workers truly polite and taking great care in their work). Even though the project took a little bit longer than anticipated (waiting on City inspections slowed things down), every step was communicated. John pushed to get things done as quickly as possible. We did go a bit over budget since we added a few things in as we were going along. However, that was because we added to the project. I'm glad that we did. Great job. I would definitely use them again.”

“MainStreet Design Build is an extremely talented and professional firm. That's our kitchen in the Baldwin picture. Our craftsman style house was built in 1922. We love it for all of the woodwork and charm inside. We therefore needed a company that would respect and complement the historic style of our home, but update the kitchen with more space and ammenities for the way we function as a family today (kitchens were very small back in 1922!). We got all of that and more. We have incredible cabinetry with custom wood work and we love our eat in area. The kitchen totally flows with the rest of our home, but really is our crown jewel. We still "WOW" friends when they walk into the kitchen - it is absolutely beautiful and timeless and I wouldn't change a thing. MainStreet's incredible vision and their attention to detail are their greatest assets. From the beginning of the project until the end, the MainStreet staff was engaged and focused on us as the customer. “I used Brothers Renovations after the basement in my house in Royal Oak flooded with sewage back on 8-12-14. After a remediation company did the initial clean-up and removed the lower half of my finished basement, Brothers Renovations came in and demolished the entire basement, even removing the wooden studs, and rebuilt an entirely new basement from the metal studs up which was strategically designed to limit damage and clean-up in the event of another flood in the future. The owner, Alex Reschka, helped design the new finished basement and had excellent space-saving and cost-saving ideas and even created a unique hidden door (a sliding bookshelf) that completely hides a storage room and significantly improved the looks of the main room. I've gone from paneling and a drop ceiling to dry-walled ceilings and tiled floors. I now have a larger fully-tiled bathroom and a wet bar which no doubt enhance the value of my home. I found Mr. Reschka to be honest and trustworthy and Brothers Renovations provided excellent quality and craftsmanship. They stayed on schedule and within budget and I couldn’t be happier with the end-result. I wholeheartedly recommend Brothers Renovations without hesitation to perform any home remodeling job, big or small.”
