Kurt did a great job listening to our concerns about the project and working around us living in the house during the project. From materials selection to making sure that every installation detail was perfect, I knew we were in good hands. “DBW completed a total makeover of our house in Rockland, including removing a bearing wall and inserting replacement support beams in the ceiling. Drywalling, rockwork, painting, installing steam shower, flooring, carpeting were all completed. The house was then displayed in the parade of homes in 2010. Excellent caring workmanship. Very easy to work with and workmanship of the highest caliber.”

“Charlie and Melissa did our renovation/new build on our 1927 bungalow that was completed in 8 months and 1 day. The scope of the project increased significantly with the discovery of a not so sound foundation. The planning and execution of each segment of the build went very smoothly. And when issues arose Charlie and his crew were able to respond quickly and to our exact specifications. The site was always looked after with as little impact as possible on our very understanding neighbors. During storms Charlie was there in the middle of the night making sure nothing was amiss. The crew and sub-trades that Charlie and Melissa employ were all stand up people with a great work ethic and an understanding of the stress a project like this is on a family. We have plans for Appleford to return to do our fence and build a new garage in the back yard.”

“Arctic Home is fast, clean, clear about what can be accomplished--and by comparison with others I called for a bid--their costs are much more reasonable. I feel fortunate to know local construction professionals that I can call about the smallest job as well as a major remodel. The job I needed seemed major to me--an addition to my garage--but Rick and the crew took it in stride. While that was being completed I came up with a second project (converting space in my attic from storage to a loft bedroom for grandkids) but I wanted to schedule it to avoid the Thanksgiving holiday. No problem, they were great to work with, and the results are terrific. Extra room in my garage and the grandkids are excited about their "fort" in the attic! I would recommend this company to anyone seeking timely, reasonably priced construction work!”

“Chomak Construction is a team of well trained and well organized workers who get the job done in time and on budget. Brent Chomack did a complete reno on Lochside for my clients, creating a walk-in closet and master on-suite for the Mbedroom. He totally remodelled three bathrooms, finished a media room and opened a kitchen wall to allow a full ocean view. Brent is working on another project right now and all I can say that my clients and I are extremely happy with his fair pricing and his attention to detail. His integrity is par none.”

“Gary did a superb job replacing an old deck and making a much nicer new one to hold our hot tub. He and his team at Mobius Construction were easy to work with and good about getting things scheduled in a timely manner. He also built a garage, a fence, and some steps for our pathway down to the lake. He was great about negotiating all of the permits and solving problems as they arose. I highly recommend Mobius Construction.”
