“This company was always on time.They always had a team leader on site to oversee the job. Clean up of paper debris and nails was excellent.Very polite work crew.Always tried not to be an imposition with regards to vehicles and equipment.Will recommend to anyone that inquires as to workmanship.”

“Great Harbors Home Services has done a lot of interior and exterior work for me on my Cape Cod home. They show up, finish the job, and are reasonably priced. Their work is nothing less than perfect and professional. They communicate very well with the customer and keep them informed. Great Harbors refurbished old, rotting, carpenter ant eaten clapboards on the front of my house and shed to beautiful composite board that will last forever. They transformed my office space inside my home to a beautiful workspace (covering a horrible dark purple on the walls)--installed laminate floor and built a closet and painted/finished the entire space. A small project they did was adding a beadboard accent to the peninsula in my kitchen. They will be renovating two more bedrooms for me with laminate floor. I still use them for whatever home projects I have because they are experts--I will not be calling any other contractor. See attached photos for their work. Call Josh 774-238-2219. “I've known Tom Flynn since I bought my home on the Cape over 10 years ago. Since that time Tom has done many home improvement projects for me, including replacing all of the original windows, new shingles for the entire house, replacing the insulation in the basement ceiling, and replacing patio door with a French door. His workmanship is always first-rate and most importantly he provides written contracts that outline not only the work and costs but the timeline for when he will start and finish. No surprises. I highly recommend him for any job you might have for your property.”

“We live in an 1847 home which had already been 80% renovated and updated. Tom replaced our kitchen and laundry room areas, installed bookshelves in the library, and replaced much of the outside work improperly performed by a prior contractor on the rear of the house (hired by another the prior owner). We also have an 1847 adjacent carriage house which was in such disrepair that we contemplated razing it. Tom convinced us that he could save it and we invested in a complete foundation-up restoration. The result was a spectacular restoration that can be viewed here: http://www.vacationcapecod.com/rental/house.html?ID=326. Tom also built a 20’ x 40’ custom 3 bay garage that houses my wood shop with plenty of room for 3 cars. The quality is superb and finishing is perfect. We had some difficult projects with unknown costs. Tom gave us a range of costs depending on what he found when he got into the projects. The costs were always within his original estimates. Tom completed the projects on time and on budget, keeping us informed and integrated into the decision-making throughout the project. Both the carriage house and garage are incredibly solidly built with impeccable attention to detail and fantastic craftsmanship. Tom is truly a master craftsman. Tom would be the only contractor I would call for any job, large or small. In the 5 years we've worked with him he and his expert craftsmen have earned our trust and admiration.”

“We hired Cheney Construction to renovate and expand our house in Chatham Ma. The group that we selected needed to be special because our house is over 200 years old. We needed to keep a lot of people happy, both in the neighborhood and in the town. Fred was wonderful in all aspects. When we encountered delays due to approvals, he sat tight. When we got the green light, he worked efficiently and expertly. The result is something that we couldn't have imagined. And his prices, because he is a small, locally owned business, were the best. Let's not forget that when you have this type of work done, the crew tends to get underfoot. Fred was a pleasure to have around. Highly, highly recommend”
