“I used BRG Builders for 3 different projects to update my 40 year old townhouse: the kitchen, a bathroom, a staircase, and the 2nd floor which included the main bathroom. They did an excellent job coordinating the different areas of the project (demo, electrical, plumbing, painting, tiling, removing walls, and flooring). I'm very happy with all the work they did, and will use them for future projects.”

“Excellent communication and amazing quality of work on our kitchen. Yuliyanna has over 12 contracts with different cabinetry providers. Your budget needs will be met! Guaranteed! I can only speak to this company's communication and responsiveness, as we ultimately decided we did not need another bid. But in terms of how quickly they got back to me, the thoroughness in their communication, and the confidence that they gave me that they would cover every detail...they were superb! Every homeowner needs Carlos and Yuliyanna!! Other reviewers can attest to the beautiful work that they do. I am very much appreciated how they handled initial contacts and follow-up. “I hired Justin with Defined By Design to remodel our downstairs bathroom. In our initial meeting he convinced me that he was an honest contractor and I put my trust in him. While his initial estimate for completion of the job was 3 to 4 weeks, it did end up being closer to 5 weeks which was still a lot faster than any of the other contractors I spoke with had promised. Justin was a pleasure to work with. He knows his stuff and his sub contractors were punctual, friendly and highly skilled. Everyone who came into our house treated us with respect and that's not always a given. Throughout the construction Justin and I conferred regularly and discussed any and all changes that came up due to unforeseen construction challenges. The result is that we got a beautiful remodeled bathroom with custom touches and personalized style. We could have spent less and we could have spent more but for us, choosing Justin and his team was absolutely the right decision.”
Thrive Landscape and Design

“We had a very outdated and environmentally unfriendly landscape around the 3acre site of our 1980s southwest run style berm home. Concrete with a very formal ugly brick pattern in front of our south-facing solar energy source, and asphalt paving (UGH!) everywhere else. It made the house hot in summer and ugly. The house also needed an entrance, as there was not an obvious one. Peter Chivers and his crew put together a plan with us to start to " remediate" the site. Peter's taste and ours I think really fit. He designed a fabulous new southwestern entry, even scrounged around and found a very cool old hand hewn beam for the header. There's more work to be done with plants and the landscape, and we'll be working with them again next year. You should know that Peter is a perfectionist and as with the really good people, sometimes things take longer than you think. We didn't push, but if we had I think it would probably be ready for pictures. We'll put some up as soon as we can!”

They source the best subcontractors and always have someone on site when any subs are present. They do what they say at every step of the project. We have a late 1800s home and they handled everything from permitting to execution.”

“Kevin repaired our mailbox, which was about to fall off its post. He pulled up two steel stakes that I had driven into the ground with a sledge hammer 12 years ago, and no one else could pull up. He adjusted some doors that had been messed up when the house started sagging a little, because we had a bad builder originally, who left a support out of one end. He removed a torn screen from the screen door in front, after repairing that door so it closes and latches correctly again, and he's getting that re-screened for us. And he's working up bids for some more work. Honest, affordable and competent! The 3 things we value most in a tradesman like this!”

“We recently downsized into a much smaller home which created numerous design challenges. I have never hired a professional interior designer but I knew I was out of my league and contacted Jen at Motif Design Solutions. Jen has done a wonderful job listening and designing around my priorities and lifestyle. She made sure to incorporate all my favorite photos, accessories and key pieces of furniture into her her beautiful design to create a personal and cohesive room! Jen's recommendation to remove our kitchen table and replace it with a beautiful hickory bar top has transformed our very small kitchen into a functional, unique and livable area large enough to accommodate family and friends. Jen is very responsive and communicates with me during every phase of the design process. She has made sure we stayed within our budget and her pricing structure is set up so I can not only afford her services but I'm also getting the best quality furniture and accessories available. We are still several weeks away from completing the first phase of our remodel and I can't wait to see the finished results and start on the next!
